This Privacy Policy applies to the General Science Android application (the “App”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. The App provides educational General Science content in Hindi and is designed to work without creating a user account.

Local Storage

The App uses MMKV/local storage on your device to save learning progress, bookmarks, quiz history, and settings. This information supports continuity between sessions and is not used to create a user account.

Local data remains on your device unless you remove it through available in-app controls, clear the App's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the App.

Notifications

If you enable study reminders, the App uses local notifications to remind you to study. Notification preferences and schedules are stored locally on your device. Depending on your Android version, the App may ask for permission to show notifications.

You can change reminder settings in the App or disable notification permission at any time through your device settings.

Advertising / Meta Audience Network

The App uses Meta Audience Network to display interstitial advertisements. When an advertisement is served, Meta may process information in connection with ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related advertising services. This processing is controlled by Meta and is subject to Meta's applicable privacy terms and policies.

Your device or account settings may provide choices related to advertising and ad personalization. The availability of these choices depends on your device, region, and Meta's services.

Learning progress, bookmarks, quiz history, settings, and reminder preferences are retained locally for as long as the App's data remains on your device. You can delete this information by using relevant in-app options where available, clearing the App's storage through Android settings, or uninstalling the App.

Information processed independently by Meta Audience Network is retained and deleted according to Meta's own terms, policies, and legal obligations. Requests concerning that information may need to be directed to Meta.

Third-Party Services

Meta Audience Network is the third-party advertising service used by the App. Its handling of information is governed by its own privacy documentation and not by this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Meta's privacy information to understand its practices and available choices.

Children's Privacy

The App provides educational content that may be useful to a broad audience. It does not require users to create accounts or directly submit personal information.
